About Us

The Ferry, Stone in Oxney, Kent TN30 7JY

Welcome to The Ferry

Paul’s family have lived in Stone since the First World War and is only one of a few families who can say that. Having run a number of successful companies he originally bought The Ferry Inn in the 1980’s. Wally Milstead who had been the Landlord at The Ferry Inn for more than 30 years continued to run it until his retirement in 2003. Paul now owns the Ferry with his partner Maria and their young son Sebastian.

Meet the Team

George Razven is our Head Chef, George worked for many years at Chapple Down as Senior Sous Chef, and his Move to the Ferry gave him the opportunity to bring his own style of cooking and new dishes to the much loved Ferry Inn menu.

With George on the Ferry Inn restaurant team are Natalie Coleshill, Tom Hopper, formerly of the Hope & Anchor Hotel in Rye who is working with  Maria and Paul Withers Green, who provides cover and back-up.
